NEW PEUGEOT 208 GTI CONCEPT RELEASED

MERCEDES-BENZ SA POSTS HIGH REVENUES

Mercedes-Benz South Africa did quite well in the year 2011. The company realised R23.6 billion in revenues, up 4% on 2010 values. At the same time it paid about R2 billion in taxes to Minister Pravin Gordhan’s SARS division. They also upped their junior level management to 60% in order to help achieve higher BBBEE levels.

CHEVROLET INTRODUCES, PRICES CAMARO FOR UK

Chevrolet has officially exported its muscle from Detroit to the other side of the Atlantic. The best-selling muscle car of the past couple of years, the Camaro, is now available from United Kingdom dealerships in both Coupe and Convertible. It also seems to be priced quite well for what it provides.

RENAULT SPORT SA KEEPS TOP 3 SPOT

Renault South Africa maintained its position as a top three seller of Renault Sport (RS) models in the French marque’s Asia-Africa Region during 2011. Japan took top spot with Australia coming in second place.

UPDATED 2012 DODGE JOURNEY ANNOUNCED

2012 BMW M6 COUPE AND CONVERTIBLE UNVEILED

The BMW M6 range has been officially unveiled to the world, ahead of its public debut at the 2012 Geneve International Motor Show. Both Coupe and Convertible are there to see, although launches for both will be on separate dates, with the Convertible up for launch first. The cars are based on the all-new 6 Series which was launched in Mzansi last year.
