The latest spy shots of the upcoming BMW 3 Series GT now pretty much show the car as it will be when it’s launched. GT is essentially an Audi A5 Sportback competitor and will be sold in Mzansi where people seem to prefer this type of style over the classical station wagon format.

The all-new 2013 Mazda6 is now officially unveiled. Mazda’s flagship sedan, redesigned from the top down using the KODO – Soul of Motion philosophy and based on the Takeri Concept car of 2011, is said to be quite the driver’s car. Pity it doesn’t look like there’s any turbo engines in the range.

GEELY, VOLVO TO ATTACK AUDI, MINI

Chinese car giant Geely might very soon work with Volvo in a new jointly-developed model to rival Audi’s A1 and BMW’s MINI. According to European media reports the only way this could become a feasible project would be if the Swedish manufacturer ties up with Geely to supply a power plant for the new compact.
