Fans of the Transformers franchise will be pleased to learn that Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon is due for release on the 1st of July 2011. To whet those appetites the studio has released this epic trailer featuring some of the action spots which will characterise this third (and last?) instalment.
Of course our main interest in it, being a car site and all, is the fact that to borrow from its name, the movie features vehicles of all sorts which keep changing into deadly robots, good and bad. General Motors has had a long-standing relationship with Transformers producers to have its cars star in the movies. Such cars include the current Chevrolet Camaro (Bumbleebee) and others.
Perhaps the most glaring thing from a character point of view will be the absence of Megan Fox who played Shia LaBeouf’s (Sam) girlfriend in the previous two flicks. She had a fallout with director Michael Bay. Her replacement is one English fox with the long name of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The 24 year-old Victoria’s Secret model is making her big screen acting debut.
