NEW PEUGEOT 208 GTI CONCEPT RELEASED

Peugeot is scheduled to unveil the new 208 GTi at the 2012 Paris International Motor Show later this year. But for now we can expect to see its concept version, which appears at the 2012 Geneva International Motor Show next month. The normal 208 already looks like one pretty sister, but the GTi takes it to a higher level. Simply sumptuous.

The same sweet 1.6-litre turbo THP petrol engine as used in other Peugeots as well as Citroens, does duty here too. Peak power is possibly between 132kW and 147kW, depending on which software configuration is chosen.
