NEW CITROEN C4 SCORES BIG ON SAFETY

The new CITROËN C4 has achieved an overall score of 5 stars in the latest Euro NCAP ratings. Indeed, it won 5 stars in all categories. With a score of 97% in assistance systems, it achieved the best result in the compact saloon class. This provides guaranteed peace of mind for increasingly demanding customers.

The new CITROËN C4 has balanced road-holding, strengthened by driving assistance technology as standard, such as electronic braking distribution, emergency braking assistance and smart traction control, combined with ESP. In addition to its road-holding performance, onboard safety is one of its many advantages, with 6 airbags as standard (driver, front passenger, side and curtain).

The new CITROËN C4 has not only achieved the best score for assistance systems, it goes even further by offering new innovative, smart services that guarantee peace of mind for drivers, passengers and other road users, such as:

- The ultrasound blind spot monitoring system, the only one of its kind on the market. This innovative function informs the driver of any vehicles present in the blind spot using an orange diode positioned in the corner of the rear-view mirror.
- The programmable cruise control. The driver may set up to 5 speed levels and find them easily when the speed limit changes along their route.
- The innovative new CITROËN eTouch service. There is a whole range of services onboard the vehicle, such as emergency calls and localised assistance (depending on the country), two free services that are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week thanks to an integrated SIM card. If an incident occurs or if the driver witnesses an accident, these services locate the vehicle precisely and guarantee rapid intervention by emergency services
