Mazda will debut its facelifted Mazda2 hatch at the 2010 Paris International Motor Show which kicks off on the 30th of September for the press and on Saturday for the general public. The car will feature a new front end with what Mazda calls its “unique family face”, a new upgraded interior and an upgraded chassis for better ride comfort.
Having driven the little Mazda I’m not sure how and why they could improve on its ride prowess. Additionally the car will be offered with an automatic gearbox. Not sure if Mzansi will also get it.
Secondly a fresher Mazda5 will be unveiled during the same show. A new 1.6-litre turbo diesel pushing out 84kW is fitted. So is a new 6-speed manual gearbox.
Mazda3 fans were not left out as an updated version of their favourite family car also comes to light in Paris.
