The 2011 Infiniti IPL G Coupe has been revealed and will be available at United States dealerships sometime in the month of December. The performance car will provide good competition to cars like the Nissan 370Z, BMW Z4 sDrive35i and the Audi TT RS, which unfortunately has not been confirmed for the US.
Anyway, this G Coupe features a 3.7-litre V6 engine making
260kW (349bhp) at 7400rpm and 374Nm of torque at 5200rpm. Mated to it is either a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic with solid magnesium paddles for gear shifting. No performance figures were released but there is a Viscous Limited Slip Differential (VSLD) fitted to enhance grip and handling.Sweet interior deals include an IPL engine cover, a unique IPL emblem, aerodynamic pieces on the front and rear end, red-stitched sport front seats and matching steering wheel, aluminium pedals, a Bose sound system, a 9.3 GB hard drive and a moonroof.
Prices will be announced closer to market launch.
