JAGUAR XJ: CONFIGURE YOUR OWN

Jaguar has started taking orders for the new XJ sedan as promised when it was unveiled last month. Now you can spec your own XJ as well from the base model on their website. IN4RIDE went on the site (a few times as you can see) and we specced the thing to different levels.

Choices are varied; 14 exterior colours, nine wheel options and so on.

The second car we configured featured 20" Orona Polished Alloy Wheels (£1 500 – R19 400), Jet Bond Grain leather seats with Jet upper facia and Ivory headlining, Satin American walnut, delete XJ badge, Headlamps with Adaptive Front Lighting, cornering lamps and Intelligent High Beam (£845 – R10 950), four zone automatic climate control with air filtration, humidity sensing and four zone temperature control for driver, front passenger and independent control for left and right rear passengers (£500 – R6 480) among others.

It came to £55 345 (R717 400) which is lower than the first car which was £62 970 (R816 200). Click here to configure your own Jaguar XJ and see roughly how much you are likely to pay.
