Time for a fresh-up of the Citroën C1, the smallest member of this French outfit, and one that shares its very DNA with the Peugeot 107
and Toyota Aygo. So several ideas
came through the kitchen and made their way into the car’s look and feel.
Mainly of course we are talking about the front and rear
ends. A redesigned front bumper now feeds LED
daytime running lights on the so-called Seduction model. These are shaped quite like the ones in the DS3. At the back they’ve kept the same all-glass tailgate with crystal and
anthracite lights that merge with the bumper. Slight interior changes include
new seat designs, as well as optional Bluetooth
and USB features for the
higher-speced Seduction.
Two models are to be sold – Attraction and Seduction,
with the same 50kW 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine. Citroën
says it will return 4.3 litres per
100km in average fuel consumption,
with C02 emissions stated as 99 g/km.
