While some industry experts are increasingly whispering the words “double dip recession”, Porsche seems to be accelerating
towards delivering even more cars this year. Company CEO Matthias Mueller says his order books are full, spurred on by
demand for its best-seller, the Cayenne.
Next year production of the new Boxster will begin, the new 911 will spread across the world,
new Cayenne will turn two years old, Panamera
will be up for a facelift and the Cajun
will be finalised. All this is expected to push up Porsche sales to over 140 000 annual units in 2012.
