Italian design house Bertone has released a design study for Jaguar. It is called the B99 and measures about 4.5 metres long. What that means is that while it harks back to the old XJs and incorporates new design elements created by Ian Callum and his capable team, the B99 is a compact Jaguar. And compact means competition for Audi’s A4, BMW’s 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz’s C-Class and Volvo’s S60.
Engines are obviously not a real subject at the moment, seeing that this car doesn’t even exist in the metal. Nevertheless for this segment we can expect small turbos/ supercharged petrols and diesels, as well as a hybrid.
Whether Bertone will be chosen over the Callum crew, to finally design this car is a matter of time, perhaps depending largely on public reaction to these pictures.

It's probably because of the oversize wheels but I think it looks too big to be a 3-series rival. I may be wrong
Ha..ha..ha the bakk looks like a front part. what are they smoking!
Good sweeping design. I hope they make it
wow very good
Eish Jag currently have a winning formula. Now this? It looks like some American muscle car (DODGE CHARGES IN WITH BEASTLY SRT8). What's up with the pouncing jaguar on the bonnet. I though they moved away from all that. The lines are very much in line with the old X-type. The suede door are nice tough though.
Oxo is jealous. this I am wanting this car so bad
