A new Renault Laguna
Coupe is on its way in 2012. Well, not exactly new, more like a very minor facelift to keep the car looking fresh. There isn’t much in the way of exterior
changes, apart from new 17-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and a new colour palette.
The interior got an update
too, including new dashboard stitching and an upgraded sound system. Three trim
levels, namely the Black Edition,
Monaco GP and the GT 4Control can be
ordered, each with its own unique set of equipment.
The engine department consists of a 2.0 Energy dCi turbo diesel, a V6 V9X diesel, a 2.0t petrol and a 3.5-litre V6. The 2.0 Energy dCi 150 puts
out 110kW, 129kW and 132kW,
depending on the model. The 2.0t petrol is good for either 125kW or 151kW, while the V6 produces 177kW. The V9X also switches on 177kW.
Europe gets its updated Laguna Coupe in February. Renault SA will launch the car in mid
to late 2012 but as for which engines, nothing is confirmed.
