It seems Renault
Sport is now very much a part of the South African psyche, as the country
is now the third most popular spot
within the Asia-Africa region to sell RS-badged
cars. Japan is the biggest seller of these vehicles, followed by Australia, and then Mzansi.
At this point in time, 13%
of all Meganes sold are RS variants, while at Clio, RS is represented by 12% of the mix. Twingo RS fans number
16% of that model’s range. All South African Renault Sport buyers are entitled
to a free advanced driving course
with their purchase, so if you weren’t offered this potentially life-saving gig, go and complain at
your dealership.
