FPV AUSTRALIA SHOWS FIERY FALCON CONCEPT

Australia’s Ford Performance Vehicles or FPV has unveiled this brutal rendition of a Falcon sedan at the Melbourne Motor Show. Mzansi doesn’t get the Falcon anymore but that doesn’t stop us from appreciating a job well done, especially when it comes to power and torque. The concept can be realised and we think it should be.

Thundering beneath the surface is a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine celebrating just 335kW (449 bhp) and 570Nm of torque. There are no specific claimed performance figures but a 0 – 100km/h of under 5.5 seconds should be possible. Drive is through the rear wheels, which we expect to be smoking half the time.

Kit includes black leather trim, four black exhaust pipes, six-piston black brake callipers, 19-inch forged alloy wheels and a matt paint finish.
