The father of all Bentleys is being unveiled in August at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in Pebble Beach, USA. From what I understand the Grand Bentley as it will be known, replaces the well-aged Arnage range as the main Bentley in the stable. That means it will be perched above both the Continental Flying Spur and the Brooklands. Actually the latter seems to be closely related in terms of styling as far as these teaser pictures are concerned.
Where in the grand luxury space would the Grand Bentley play? Well there are only two other competitors here and they are the Rolls-Royce Phantom and the Maybach 57 and 62. At this level you are looking at paying at least US$400 000 (R3.3 million/ €289 000). Whether a microwave, a king-sized bed and a chauffer are included in this price is another story altogether.
