CITROËN LAUNCHES ALL-NEW C4 IN BUSY SEGMENT




Citroën South Africa is now selling the all-new generation C4 hatchback. It replaces the old car which was launched here back in 2005. From looking at the pictures one might not be too impressed, but if you trust what I tell you then you’ll believe me when I say it looks better in the metal. Much better in fact.

HYPER KOENIGSEGG AGERA R DETAILED






Koenigsegg revealed its Agera R at the 2011 Geneve International Motor Show early this month. Now the independent Swedish hypercar maker has made public details regarding this special car. If you thought you’d heard about quick, you haven’t heard about the Agera R.

2012 BMW M5: LATEST TEST VIDEO RELEASED

BMW released a fresh teaser promo video for the upcoming M5. Sadly the camouflage is still on there, but we can see a few details like the four tailpipes and a great view of the front interior. The drivers speak German so for our non-German readers, we’ve translated their speech for you.

Infamous tuner G-Power has shown us what its new package for the BMW X6 M looks like. We’ve often criticized both the X5 M and X6 M for being too inconspicuous compared to their direct rivals, and G-Power has made sure none of that happens with their new package.

MERCEDES-BENZ C 63 AMG BLACK SERIES ON ITS WAY

Spy photographers have caught the brand new Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Black Series during testing. Merc has had Black Series models before in the form of the CLK 63 AMG and SL 65 AMG (IN4RIDE understands billionaire Patrice Motsepe has one of these), but never on a C-Class.

KELVIN VAN DER LINDE SHINES AT ZWARTKOPS

Kelvin van der Linde continues to impress in his first season of senior circuit racing.  In round two of the Pro Tour at Zwartkops on Saturday, the 14-year-old Dainfern College pupil was the class of the Goldwagen Challenge field in class B, easily winning race one from pole position and setting an new lap record in race two when he led by five seconds before retiring with electrical problems.

IS AUDI Q6 OR Q8 TARGETING BMW X6?

Audi wants in on the BMW X6’s apparent sales success. A rumour reported by Autoweek suggests Ingolstadt cannot simply close its eyes to the X6 and is now seriously investigating its own for the segment. Some are calling it the Q6, while others prefer the name Q8. Whatever it will be named, the SUV coupe should be a hit on showroom floors.

THREE AND FOUR-CYLINDER TURBOS FOR BMW

Turbocharged engines aren’t just a new fad for BMW, they are here to stay. Sure the company built a few in the 1970s but it’s since been known for the naturally aspirated power pack. Until recently. Now it says there’s more to come in this arena, including new 4-cylinder and even 3-cylinder turbos. And they won’t just be petrols, they will be diesels too!

PORSCHE 918 TO COST OVER R7 MILLION!



The R7 million Porsche 918 Spyder is now open to order. Porsche announced that it will sell the car, based on the 918 concept, from 2013, soon after production begins in September of that year. To top it off, buyers will exclusively get their hands on a special edition 911 Turbo S coupe or cabriolet. Not for free though, but at the same price as what you pay today. Only 918 examples of the 918 Spyder will ever be built, making it highly exclusive, even for a Porsche.

BASHFUL C 63 AMG COUPE BREAKS COVER!







At last, Mercedes-Benz will get a chance to level the playing fields with its German brethren, thanks to the new C 63 AMG Coupe. For the first time ever, we get a two-door C-Class in this level and as such, get a direct rival to the BMW M3 Coupe and the new Audi RS 5.
