PEUGEOT'S PLANS FOR PARIS 2010 UNVEILED

In January, Peugeot re-launched the Marque by creating a new offensive in terms of style, products and services. In the run up to the Paris Motor Show, Peugeot presents the 508, its new large touring car embodying the Marque's strong design and emotion and demonstrates its new approach to mobility - modern, efficient and distinctive - in a bold response to the challenge of mobility and the environment including:

- the iOn, a 100% electric car,
- the 3008 HYbrid4, the world's first diesel hybrid,
- service offers,
- Peugeot scooters and cycles.

Making its world debut, the Peugeot 508 embodies the Marque’s new design styling in the large touring car segment.

The Peugeot 508 combines strong design and emotion with:

- its new-generation e-HDi and HYbrid4 technologies,
- its streamlined, prestigious and dynamic good looks,
- its perceived quality and interior comfort,
- its unique driving experience, based on the Marque’s longstanding expertise.

With the 508, Peugeot continues its international offensive: it will be produced in France for the European market and then in China, for the world’s leading car market. Both 508 body styles, saloon and SW, will be marketed in Europe from the beginning of 2011.

The iOn, the first new-generation 100% electric urban car is designed for both fleet and private customers. Silent, practical and lively, it benefits from its excellent “capacity/size” ratio and unrivalled handling. Available from the end of this year, for less than €500 (R4 600) per month, iOn customers will also benefit from a number of support services (servicing, specific assistance, access to Peugeot Connect and Mu by Peugeot).

The Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4: by launching the world’s first diesel hybrid vehicle, Peugeot presents a new offer in terms of environmental efficiency and new driving experiences. With the 3008 Crossover, the hybridisation of a diesel engine (2.0 litre HDi FAP 120kW) with an electric motor offering a maximum capacity of 27kW allows:

- 4 wheel drive
- maximum power of 147kW
- ZEV mode (Zero Emission Vehicle)
- 3.8 litres/100 km.

The customer benefit is immediate with a high level specification and emissions starting from 99g/km of CO2, a staggering reduction of 35% compared to a combustion engine vehicle.

Mu by Peugeot gives everyone the chance to rent - from Peugeot car or scooter dealers - not only cars, but also scooters, bicycles, electric bikes and even accessories (child seat, roof box, etc). This innovative mobility offer entered the launch phase in 2010. After Paris, the launch of Mu spread quickly to seven other European cities: Berlin, Madrid, Milan, and more recently Antwerp, Bristol, Brussels and London. From the date of the Paris Motor Show, Mu will be offering an online or i-Phone booking service.

Peugeot Scooters: new electric sensations. Peugeot Scooters - not only Europe's fourth largest manufacturer and the world’s oldest global brand of motorised two-wheelers but also the pioneer of the electric scooter - presents a new electric scooter, the e-Vivacity, scheduled to go on sale from the beginning of 2011.
