CLEAR PHOTOS OF 2011 CHEVROLET AVEO

Thanks to our friends at Aveoforum.com we now have a pretty clear picture of what the new-generation Chevrolet Aveo will look like. Based on spy pictures captured while the car was testing, the Aveoforum gurus spent some time behind the screens of Photoshop to accurately depict what Chevy engineers had tried so hard to hide.

The lines are certainly sharp, but not complex. Chevy went for simpler, but funkier looks to take on the likes of Mazda2, Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Polo.

We don’t know what engines will be used but it is advisable that GM come up with small turbo engines because its rivals are already up and running with those. Think of the 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6-litre turbos found in cars of this segment. Using a bigger, naturally aspirated option is no longer as viable as it used to be.

The all-new Chevrolet Aveo hits the world in the next few months, possibly in South Africa in the middle of 2011.

I hope the few consumption has been improved. These small cars are very deceiving. One would think based on their size they'd be fuel efficient... Nooooooo not all the time.
