In a move precedented
only by BMW, Jaguar has leaked these
“spy” pictures from its own sources.
The car is a wagon version of the XF,
which is called the Sportbrake. Mmhh,
why is this very similar to Audi’s Sportback models? Anyway, South Africa is
unlikely to import these wagons as our people are simply not interested in
buying station wagons, whatever premium manufacturers
opt to label them.

2014 VOLVO XC 90 SKETCHES SHOWN
Editor:
Thami Masemola
Volvo launched the XC
90 SUV way back in 2003. It actually represented a new design language for
the normally-conservative Swedish
brand (now owned by Chinese company Geely). But 8 years later it looks so long in the tooth that even sabre-toothed tigers would be envious. Unfortunately
there’s still at least 2 more years to stroll through.
SUBARU SHOWS OFF BORING BRZ

Following sister brand Toyota’s unveiling of its 86 (or GT 86 in Europe), Subaru has now shown us full pictures of the mechanically identical
BRZ. While we weren’t exactly bowled
over by the 86’s styling, we reckon the Scooby
has done an even worse job, preferring to stay clean and staid. The car looks like it comes straight out of the 1980s.

COULD HONDA BE DEVELOPING THE NSX AGAIN?
Editor:

A couple of years ago
Honda was rumoured to be close to finishing
off development of a new NS-X supercar. That project was
apparently killed off due to the 2008/
2009 recession. But now a new rumour
has suggested the Japanese automaker
is preparing for a second stab at
it. And the 2012 North American Auto Show in Detroit will be where it debuts. At
least in concept form.
