LEAKED: NEW MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS COUPE PICTURES!

German website Autobild.de has revealed these leaked pictures of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe. It is expected the car will debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, although one cannot totally discount a Detroit unveiling next week.

New to the scene, the C-Class Coupe is Merc’s answer to the BMW 3 Series Coupe and the Audi A5 ranges. The CLC was never aimed at such a segment, so this is not a replacement for that but an all-new concept for the brand. But unlike the S-Class Coupe (currently CL-Class) and the E-Class Coupe, this car has a B-pillar, which makes it different from this elder siblings. The looks are identical to the new facelift C-Class, but of course it has two fewer doors.

Engines will be largely lifted from the C, including the 1.6-litre turbo and the 3.5-litre V6. We think the new 350kW 4.7-litre V6  AMG engine will be fitted into the C63 AMG Coupe, instead of the 5.5-litre twin turbo V8, but of course we do stand corrected.
