Coming to a Mercedes-Benz
dealership near you is the all-new
A-Class hatch. And lucky you, we have all the Mzansi launch models, plus
their prices!
The A-Class has been completely redesigned as a premium hatch to ditch its “small mama car” image of yesterday. Sure there will still be mamas
looking to bring sexy back with the
new A-Class, but the majority will probably emigrate to B-Class, leaving some newcomers
to take up A.
Dr Zimmermann, boss of Mercedes-Benz South
Africa said: “The A-Class falls in a very competitive segment, however,
Mercedes-Benz is no stranger to this segment as we invented it over 15 years
ago with the first A-Class. To date we’ve sold more than 2.1 million A-Classes. Sales of the new
A-Class commenced in Europe in September 2012 – just five months ago - a total
of 90 000 orders have already been
received - this is what I call a great start!”
The local launch
date will be sometime in April 2013
for the range, while the A 45 AMG
spitfire races along just a few months later. Here are the prices.
