LAMBORGHINI POSTS RECORD SALES

Lamborghini is bucking the current trend of downward sales by following on its parent Audi’s blazing tyretrail. The company announced a year on year growth in sales for 2008, moving a total 2430 units for the year.

Lambo’s biggest market is still the US with 741 cars sold in 2008. But sales in that market gave declined from a peak of 930 last year. Italy came in second with 230 units. The biggest growth markets were in China and the Middle East. Respectively the two regions went from 28 to 72 and 100 to 166.

All this follows record profits for the fast bull.
