Check out this promotional video of a prototype of the 2009 BMW X6 M. Behind the wheel is Bernd Limmer who works for BMW M Division. The X6 M will be powered by a V8 engine, no size mentioned yet, using two turbos to produce what we think is about 405kW and 700Nm. It’s the same engine that will power the X5 M.
The X6 M and X5 M had been planned for a 2009 European launch, but due to current economic times and drastic drops in car sales all over the world, it may be postponed to 2010. No word has been said about a Mzansi introduction either.
